10th Annual Buck’s Backyard BBQ Cookoff
April 9–10, 2026 | Buck’s Backyard, Buda, Texas
Buck’s Backyard and Whiskey Tango Productions present the 10th Annual Buck’s Backyard BBQ Cookoff. It’s two days of competition barbecue in Buda, with live music, cold drinks and great food all weekend.
This IBCA-sanctioned cookoff brings pitmasters from across Texas to compete for top honors in five categories.

- Pork Spare Ribs
- Chicken
- Beef Ribeye (Cook’s Choice)
- Jackpot Beans
Entry Fees
- All three meats (Brisket, Pork Spare Ribs, Chicken): $185
- Jackpot Beans: $20
- Beef Ribeye: $20
Whether you’re competing or just coming to eat, it’s a weekend of good barbecue and good company in the backyard.
