American Petty Tribute to the Great “Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers!” 

Originally formed in 2018 American Petty has consistently brought an authentic Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers show to audiences all over Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Mississippi. With the newly reformed and rejuvenated lineup in 2023, American Petty plans to continue the Legacy of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers well into the future.

Everyone remembers the huge catalog of beautifully crafted songs, the unique and outrageous videos broadcasted on MTV and the wonderfully whimsical personality of Tom Petty. But, where Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers gained their lasting popularity and 40 year plus career was in their live performances. To see a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers live show was an unforgettable experience! Every Petty live show was just a little different guided by the audience energy that Tom and the band fed off of and gave back as a completely unique ONE of ONE live performance every single show.

American Petty strives to recreate those spontaneous live performances with the look, instrumentation, tones, spot on renditions, enthusiasm and energy only seasoned musicians well versed in the Petty catalog of music can pull off.
